*Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player in Euro finals history to appear at five different editions (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020).
*For two other players of Portugal, Pepe and João Moutinho, who also appeared in the game vs Hungary (3-0), this Euro edition became 4th in their career.
*With 2 goals scored vs Hungary, Cristiano Ronaldo became the solitary best goal-scorer in European Championship finals history (11 goals).
Michel Platini who shared the record with him before, now is the second in the all-time goal-scorers’ ranking (9 goals).
*Cristiano Ronaldo has scored goals at all 5 his Euro participations. No other player on the history has scored at even 4 participations.
*Cristiano Ronaldo became the oldest player to score a brace in a European Championship match (36 years 130 days), taking the record from Andriy Shevchenko, who was 35 years 256 days old when he scored a brace against Sweden for Ukraine in Euro 2012.
*It was Cristiano Ronaldo's 39th appearance at a major tournament (Euro and World Cup) for Portugal, an all-time record for a European player, overtaking Bastian Schweinsteiger's 38 appearances for Germany.
*Having increased his tally for national team to 106 goals, Cristiano Ronaldo got closer to the world record of Ali Daei (109).
*Portugal became the first team in European Championships history to score three goals in the final 10 minutes of a match.
