- Argentina reached his 29th Final in the COPA AMERICA History ! It is the Record ! It is also the occasion to join Uruguay at the first place of the titles (15), Argentina lost until now 14 of his 28 finals. The last title was won in 1993.
- Juan Cuadrado has celebrate his 100th international cap for Colombia against Argentina. He made his first match with the national team on September 3, 2010 against Venezuela.
- Emiliano Martinez has been told « phenomenon » by his captain Lionel Messi. He saved 3 penalties in the shootout to qualify his team for the final. And the 28 year old Martinez earned his first international cap only last month ! What a Hero for Argentina.
