World Cup 2022 Qualification: statistics on European match-days 11-13 November
*Germany have scored 9+ goals in World Cup qualifying match (vs Liechtenstein 9-0) for the 2nd time in their history (they scored 12 against Cyprus in 1969).
*With a 8-0 vs Kazakhstan, France have equaled their biggest win in a World Cup qualifier (8-0 vs Luxembourg in December 1953, 8-0 vs Iceland in June 1957).
*Croatia have scored 7+ goals in World Cup qualifying match (vs Malta 7-1) for the 1st time in their history.
*Russia have scored 6+ goals in World Cup qualifying match (vs Cyprus 6-0) for the first time since June 1965 (vs Denmark 6-0).
*Wales have scored 5+ goals in a World Cup qualifying match (vs Belarus 5-1) for the first time since August 1996 (6-0 vs San Marino).
*Spain have finally ended in the game vs Greece (1-0) its most terrible penalty streak in the history. After 5 consecutive missed penalties (Ramos, Ramos, Abel Ruiz, Gerard Moreno and Morata), La Roja scored again from 11 meters (Pablo Sarabia).

*Denmark, after 3-1 win vs Faroe Islands, became 5th European national team to win each of their opening 9 matches of a World Cup qualifying campaign (along with Romania in 1998, Spain in 2010, Switzerland and Germany in 2018).
However, Denmark conceded their first goal after 8 consecutive clean-sheets.
*Kylian Mbappé is the first player to score 4 goals for France in a match since Just Fontaine at the 1958 World Cup (6-3 vs Germany). Apart from them, four players more managed to score 4+ goals in a match: Eugène Maës (5 goals in 1913), Jean Sécember (4 in 1932), Jean Nicolas (4 in 1934) and Thadée Cisowski (5 in 1956).
These goals were the first goals for Mbappé in the current qualifying campaign.
*Memphis Depay, after a brace vs Montenegro (2-2), increased his tally in WC 2022 qualification to 11 goals. He became the 3rd player to score 10+ goals in a World Cup/EURO qualifying campaign for Netherlands, along with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (12 goals in Euro 2012 qualifying) and Robin van Persie (11 in World Cup 2014 qualifying).
