FC Barcelona and Spain midfielder Alexia Putellas is IFFHS Women’s World Best Player of the Year 2021 !
Putellas, who lifted as FC Barcelona’s captain the UEFA Champions League Trophy in May and was named UEFA Player of the Season, succeeded Pernilla Harder (6th place this year). She won with a fantastic 100 points margin ( !) the Award 2021 ahead of Samantha Kerr, Australia’s and Chelsea’s Goal Scorer , Samantha Mewis the US Midfielder and her teammate Jennifer Hermoso.
