CONGRATULATIONS TO ALGERIA
Algeria beat Tunisia 2-0 in extra time yesterday at Al Bayt Stadium with more than 60000 people in attendance for the final match of the FIFA Arab Cup 2021 !
Algeria scored two extra time goals by substitute Arm Sayoud and Yacine Brahimi, adding this Arab Cup crown to the Africa Cup of Nations title won in 2019, which is set to defend in Cameroon next month. Both countries were playing without their European based players , during the 18 day tournament.
The FIFA Arab Cup has been a successful event, bringing people and continents together , that's what football can always do, exactly one year before the FIFA World Cup Final 2022 in Qatar which will be hold at Lusail Stadium.
Qatar secured the third-placed finish after defeating Egypt on penalties. The host nation's victory coincides with Qatar National Day !
