THE AWARD 2021 TO FC BARCELONA
Established since 2012, the ranking of THE WOMEN'S WORLD BEST CLUB saw the domination of two clubs, Olympique Lyonnais (winner 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) and VFL Wolfsburg (winner 2013, 2014) until this year ! For the first time, FC Barcelona broke this domination and won sovereign the Award 2021 with a huge advance. FC Barcelona became the FIRST CLUB IN HISTORY to win the CLUB WORLD RANKING in the two categories : Men (1997, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015) and women (2021) !
