*Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick in the game Manchester United vs Tottenham (3-2) on 12 March increased his series which makes now 13 calendar years in a row (2010 to 2022) with hat-tricks in top-level games.
Thus, Cristiano Ronaldo joined Lionel Messi who has as long series of years with hat-tricks (2009 to 2021). They share the longest such streak in XXI century.
If Messi managed to make a hat-trick this year as well, he will push this record further.
Few days ago, on 8 March, Robert Lewandowski scored 3 goals in the game Bayern vs Salzburg (7-1) what prolonged his series of years with hat-tricks to 12 (from 2011 to 2022).
*Another remarkable achievement of Cristiano Ronaldo from the game vs Spurs: his first goal, scored after 12 minutes, became his 100th scored within the first 15 minute segment of the game.
