Record win of Liverpool
Liverpool’s home 9-0 win over Bournemouth in the English Premier League on 27 August became historical from some points of view.

*It was Liverpool joint-biggest win in their league history; along with above mentioned 9-0 vs Crystal Palace in top division (1989) and 10-1 vs Rotherham Town in 2nd division (1896).
*Liverpool won three games in their history at home with bigger margin than 9 goals: all those games occurred in other competitions.
*It was first occasion for Liverpool to gain 5+ goal lead at the halftime in the top division since 1 October 1927 when they finished the first halftime vs Portsmouth with 6-0 advantage (the final score 7-0).
*Liverpool equaled EPL record (since its creation in 1992) of the biggest win margin; their win 9-0 repeated the score from three other matches.
In the whole history of English top division (since 1888), 8 wins with a bigger margin than 9 goals are registered.
*Finally, it was the personal record for Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp: he celebrated the biggest competitive win of his career.
