Lewandowski: first player to reach 100 goals in the current decade!
With a goal scored in 10 September La Liga match Cadiz vs Barcelona (0-4), Robert Lewandowski became the first player in the world to produce 100 top-level goals in the current decade (which started on 1 January 2021).
He has scored 69 goals in 2021 and added next 31 this year.
In the first decade of XXI Century (2001-2010), the first player to achieve this was Henrik Larsson (eventually he has finished 8th in the ranking of goal-scorers of that decade).
In the second decade (2011-2020), it was Lionel Messi (finished 2nd).
