Cristiano Ronaldo: first ever player with 700 club goals!

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored another historical goal in the Premier League game for Manchester United vs Everton (2-1) on 9 October. This goal was his 700th in the top-level club career. He became the first player in football history to reach this milestone.   

Several great strikers from the past, Romário (691), Josef Bican (688) and Pelé (679), finished their careers being close to this landmark. Lionel Messi has now 691 club goals, so we can expect him to make 700 soon as well.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his 700 goals in 943 club games. This event came just 2 days after 20th anniversary of his very first senior goal scored for Sporting Lisbon against Moreirense (3-0) on 7 October 2002.
The breakdown of his goals is following: Sporting - 5, 118 - Manchester United – 144 (118 for 1st spell and 26 for 2nd), Real Madrid – 450,  Juventus – 101.
Next aim for CR7 is to reach 500 league goals; he is at 498 now.
