Ancelotti beats Ferguson as UCL most winning coach
With the Real Madrid win over Celtic (5-1) on 2 November, Carlo Ancelotti has surpassed Alex Ferguson to become the coach with most wins (103 against 102) in the Champions League history since its start in 1992.
Ancelotti has collected his record number of wins with 7 clubs: Milan (39), Real Madrid (32), Chelsea (10), Bayern (7), PSG (6), Napoli (5), Parma (2) and Juventus (2).
However, if we consider the pre-history of the tournament (that is European Cup 1955-1992), Alex Ferguson is still a record holder (107 wins). So, to surpass him also in this category, Ancelotti needs yet another 5 wins.
