Goalkeepers with most saves at penalty shootouts
Dominik Livaković (Croatia) became at the 2022 World Cup a co-holder of the historical record for the number of saves in the penalty shootouts (4). He made three of them against Japan and one against Brazil.
This record is now shared by 4 goalkeepers, the first of which chronologically was Harald Schumacher (Germany), who stopped the shots from Six and Bossis in the shootout vs France in 1982 and then from Quirarte and Servín vs Mexico in 1986.
Livaković has a chance to update the record tomorrow, if in the match for 3rd place Croatia vs Morocco, things again come to a penalty shootout.
