IFFHS Men's World Best International Goal Scorer 2023 at February 28 : Aymen Mahious
Algerian forward Aymen Mahious keeps leadership in the category of best international goal-scorers. In February, he added one goal in CAF Confederation Cup to those 5 scored earlier this year for his national team in CHAN 2022.
Mahious is still a sole leader with 6 goals but Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid) and Odion Ighalo (Al Hilal) step on his heels with 5.
Three players from the current top-7 (Ighalo, Marega, Vietto) represent same club, Al Hilal, which was in February prolific both in Club World Cup and AFC Champions League.
