-       Sweden clinched the bronze medal at the World Cup 2023 for the fourfth time in the History after 1991, 2011 and 2019 ! They defeated home Australia in the third place game .

-       Australia realized the best performance in their History with this 4th place at a World Cup. They were 3 times in quarter finals in 2007, 2011 and 2015.

-       Australia’s MATILDAS have a total of 403 136 spectators for their 7 games ! A fantastic crowd in a wonderful competition.

-       Australia won the last game against Sweden in november 2022 in a friendly (4-0) and Sweden won the last official game during the Olympic Games in Tokyo with 1-0 in the semi final .
