All-time best top division goal-scorers: Chile (Part 25)

Esteban Paredes holds the Chilean league goal-scoring record since 5 October 2019. On this day, he netted his 216th goal and surpassed the previous top scorer Francisco Valdés.
Paredes finished his career last year at the tally of 221. His record will apparently live for a long time. The current best active scorers, Gabriel Vargas (147) and Roberto Gutiérrez (134), are well aged (around 40) playing now in the lower divisions.
Since the inception of Chilean national league in 1933, the mark of 200 goals was achieved by 3 players, 150 goals by 16 players; Oscar Fabbiani (Argentina) is the only foreigner among them.
In the “Club 100+ goals” there are 63 members at the moment.
Carlos Campos holds the record on goals scored for a single club (184 for Universidad de Chile).
