UEFA WOMEN’S NATIONS CUP – ROUND 2
For the second round of the Womens UEFA Nations Cup, many crowd records (Austria, Turkey, Spain) show one more time the development of the Game !
Beaten by Belgium, the Dutch reacted well in front of their audience to beat England (2-1). In this same group, Belgium came very close to a second success but Scotland snatched the equalizer in stoppage time.
In the Blue group, Portugal achieved a success over Norway (3-2) while France won their second game in Austria (0-1). In group C, Denmark confirmed with a victory in Wales and 3 goals of Pernille Harder. Germany recovered by defeating Iceland (4-0).
Finally in Group D of Ligue 1, Spain beat Switzerland (5-0) with two goals of Bonmati, the best Player of the World Cup and certainly the future Ballon D’Or. It was also a record crowd in Spain while Sweden sought success in Italy (1-0).
In League B, Northern Ireland, Finland, Serbia, Poland and the Czech Republic have a second victory. In League C, Turkey played and won against Lithuania in front of more than 6,700 spectators.
