Statistics on Champions’ League group stage round 2 (October 4)

*Newcastle's 4-1 win over PSG is their largest ever in a Champions League match.

*In the meantime, it is also the heaviest group stage defeat for PSG in UCL since a 0-3 loss to Chelsea in September 2004.

*PSG last conceded 4+ goals:
in all competitions on 15 February 2020 (4-4 vs Amiens in Ligue 1), 
in UCL overall on 8 March 2017 (1-6 vs Barcelona in the round of 16),
in UCL group stage on 22 October 1997 (1-5 vs Bayern).

*For PSG coach Luis Enrique, all 3 last away games in UCL have turned the defeats with 3+ goals margin, including two at his previous club Barcelona in 2017 (0-4 vs PSG and 0-3 vs Juventus).

*Being 23 years old, Phil Foden has already scored in 6 different (and consecutive) UCL editions: only 9 other English players have achieved this, but no one of them did it at so young age.
