AWARDS 2023 - EDERSON SOVEREIGN WINNER !
EDERSON (Ederson Santana de Moraes) became the second Brazilian Goalkeeper after Alisson Becker (2019) to win the Award of IFFHS World’s Best Goalkeeper in 2023 !
Since he joined Manchester City in 2017, Ederson was always ranked in the World’s Top 10, but he wait 2023 to receive the consecration of his talent due to the fantastic performance of Manchester City winning all national and international Trophies !
Ederson totalized 145 points to win the Award with a large lead over Argentina’s Emiliano Martinez, second for the two consecutive years after 2022 and Thibaut Courtois, winner of the IFFHS Awards 2018 and 2022.
Gianluigi Donnarumma (IFFHS Award winner 2021 ) and Alisson ( IFFHS Award winner 2019) took also place in the Top 10, Yassine Bounou was again the best African Goalkeeper like in 2022.
