AFC Asian Cup Heats Up With Knockout Line-up Comfirmed

Doha, Qatar
Fighting wins, gutsy draws, missed opportunities and last minute climax... 
... The final group stage matches at the AFC Asian Cup saw all these emotions and the top guns set up the blockbuster line-up at the round of 16 knockout stage.
Qatar and Tajikistan qualified for the knockouts from Group A. The socceroos, Australia and Uzbekistan are through from Group B. Syria too qualified as best third place team.
Iran and United Arab Emirates tasted the knockout succes. 
Japan missed the chance to top the Group D as Iraq took the pole position. Indonesia were the best third place team to qualify. 
Baharain pushed strong South Korea to second position in Group E, resulting into the most high voltage clash of Saudi Arabia vs South korea in the round of 16! Jordan too made it as Best third place team.
Group F saw nerve racking battles as Saudi Arabia and Thailand booked first and second place. 

Eye catching clashes during the group stage - 

Iraq defeated Asian powerhouse Japan 2-1 and Jordan hold South Korea 2-2, shocking the Asian football world. 
Thailand were the best upcoming team in the group stage as they hold giants Saudi Arabia and Oman to a goaless draw. 
Malaysia's 3+3 draw at the final league game finished the South koreas miserable performance.
