RECORD FOR LUKA MODRIC
Luka Modrić, the new Euro’s oldest scorer instead of CR7
This record was expected from Cristiano Ronaldo, but it never came. If he had scored at least one goal at Euro 2024, he would have become the oldest goalscorer in the history of the competition.
But this did not happen. Instead, this record was taken by Luka Modrić, whose goal against Italy topped the historical ranking (38 years 289 days).
In the remaining matches of the tournament, no one will be able to break Modrić's record.
The second and third oldest goals of Euro 2024 were scored by Robert Lewandowski and Marko Arnautović.
