WORLD RECORD FOR TONI KROOS
Kroos retired as new world record holder on international trophies
Toni Kroos , also winner of one IFFHS Award (World's Best Playmaker 2014), finished his career as the new world record holder for the number of senior international trophies won with clubs and national team - 17.
By winning the Champions League with Real Madrid, he overtook Cafu and Dani Alves, who held the record before him (16).
Dani Carvajal raised his tally to 16 as well, after winning the Euro 2024 with Spain.
A trophy is taken into account for a player if he has played at least one match in this competition.
