ERLING HAALAND THE YOUNGEST
Haaland: Europe’s youngest NT top scorer!
As we already reported, on 10 October Erling Haaland took the Norwegian national team's scoring record (34 goals). He achieved this at the age of 24 years 81 days.
To appreciate this achievement, take a look at the table. It lists all current holders of a similar title in the national teams worldwide who managed to set their record before turning 30. (Restriction: only those who needed to score at least 30 goals to set the record were considered).
You can see that Haaland did this at the youngest age among all his European colleagues. As for representatives of other continents, only three scorers from Asia are ahead of him.
