-       USA began the SHEBELIEVESCUP with a win against Colombia. Catarina Macario and young star Allyson Sentnor (who celebrates her 20th birthday one day before) scored the winning goals.

-       Japan surclassed Australia in the other game with a brace of Mina Tanaka, Beleza’s striker and an impressive performance.

-       Spain was surprised by Belgium during 77 minutes (0-2) before realizing a “remontada” in the last minutes to win the game 3-2 with the goals and assists of the 3 players coming in the last minutes, Lucia Garcia, Salma Paralluelo and Cristina Martin-Prieto Guttierez !

-       Portugal realized a great draw against England. If Alessia Russo scored for England in the first minutes, Kika Nazareth gave the draw to Portugal .

-     France won 1-0 against Norway with a Katoto goal but also with Eugénie Le Sommer (PICTURE),  having her 198th international cap with her country, the national record held by Sandrine Soubeyrand, currently coach of Paris FC.
