Longest streaks of years scoring for National Team
Cristiano Ronaldo extended his world record for consecutive calendar years scoring for his national team.
His goal against Denmark (5-2) on 23 March in the Nations League increased his goal-scoring streak to 22 years, from 2004 to 2025.
The Portuguese took the record in 2023 from Robbie Keane, who had scored for Republic of Ireland for 19 years in a row.
Below is a ranking of the longest such streaks in the history of national teams.
Lionel Messi could become the second player after Cristiano Ronaldo to reach the 20-year mark if he scores this year.
