WOMEN’S U19 EURO – NEW RECORD FOR SPAIN
Spain have set new records in the Euro Championship and in UEFA competition after making it four straight wins in the women’s U19 EURO finals. They beat yesterday France 4-0 in their 4th consecutive winning final !
Spain are the first team to win any UEFA youth tournament fours years in a row and won also a record 7th title, one more than Germany. It was also their record 12th final ! 10 players were already on the pitch last year in the final against Netherlands and 7 won the 2024 U17 Euro ! Before this generation, IFFHS World’s Best Players Aitana Bonmati and Alexia Putellas won also all these competitions with Spain.If Germany were dominant from 1998 to 2011, Spain emerged as the leading force since 10 years.
