*PSG became the first visiting team to score 7 goals vs a German opposition in the history of European competitions.
The previous highest mark was Real Madrid’s 6-1 away win over Schalke in 2014 in a UCL match.

*PSG became also the first visitors to score 4 goals on German soil in the first half of a Champions League match.

*PSG last scored 4 goals in the first half of a Champions League match on 25 October 2022, against Maccabi Haifa (final score was the same as now: 7-2).

*PSG has now gone on a six-game winning streak, for the second time in their history in the Champions League, after the one between September and December 1994 under Luis Fernandez.

*PSG became the first club in history to reach the 40-goal mark in a calendar year in the Champions League (they actually have now even 45).

*PSG have won 12 UCL games in 2025, equalling the highest such tally on a calendar year established by Bayern Munich in 2001 and equalled then by Real Madrid in 2014.

*This is the second Champions League match with a player from each team sent off in the first half. 
This also happened at Porto's 5-2 win over Monaco on 6 December 2017.

*Leverkusen have conceded seven goals in any competitive home game for the first time in their history.

*PSG equalled the historical maximum of goals (7) scored by a visiting team in a UCL match (see the table).
