After Otmar Hitzfeld (1997 and 2001), Jupp Heynckes (2013) and Jürgen Klopp last year, Hans Dieter « Hansi » Flick became the 4th German Coach to be crowned as THE WORLD’S BEST CLUB COACH of the year in 2020.
Flick, assistant coach of Germany’s National Team under manager Joachim Löw from 2006 to 2014 and sport Director of Germany's Federation until 2017, joined the FC Bayern München (where he was Player between 1985 and 1990) in July 2019 as Assistant Coach of Niko Kovac before being promoted to the interim manager position two months later and making a fantastic season. He guided FC Bayern in 2020 to the continental treble for the second time in the Club’s History, winning all the Competitions in Germany and in Europe with all Records !
He won the Ranking with a large advance of Jürgen Klopp, winner last year with FC Liverpool and a brilliant second this year.
