PRESENTATION

Bader Ahmed Al-Mutawa, born 10 January 1985 in Kuwait City, plays currently for his Kuwait National Team (he holds the record of caps in his country, 173 at the 10 October 2019) and for his ever club , Al Qadsia SC, where he signed in 2002 !

The Kuwait striker with the number 17 began his career in Al Qadsia in 1994 with the youth, before signing with the first team in 2002. Since this time, he played more than 400 matches with his club (he was only loaned two part of seasons to Qatar SC in 2007 and Al Nasr in 2011). He scored 237 goals in that time and helped his team to win 8 Kuwaiti Premier League titles (2003/04, 2004/05, 2008/09, 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2013/14, 2015/16), 6 Kuwait Emir Cups (2003/04, 2006/07, 2009/10, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2014/15), 7 Kuwait Crown Prince Cups (2003/04, 2004/05, 2005/06, 2008/09, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2017/18), 4 Kuwait Federation Cups (2007/08, 2008/09, 2010/11, 2012./13), one Al Kurafi Cup 2006, 4 Kuwait Super Cups (2009, 2011, 2014, 2018) and the GCC Champions League 2005.

Al-Mutawa was nominated to become Asian’s Footballer of the Year 2006 (second place), 2007 and 2010 (third place). He was capped for the first time in the National Team of Kuwait in 2003 at the Arabian Gulf Cup and scored his first goal against Yemen. He played 173 international matches with Kuwait and scored a total of 56 goals.

He won the Arabian Gulf Cup and the WAFF Championship 2010, receiving the same year the IFFHS Award of THE WORLD’S BEST TOP GOAL SCORER of the Year ! 

He played games for 5 FIFA Qualifications to the World Cups 2006 to 2022, scoring goals in the qualifications matches for 2006, 2014, 2018 and 2022 !
