Bergson: 16-game domestic scoring streak!
The Brazilian striker Bergson, who plays for the club Johor Darul Ta'zim in Malaysia, has scored in his 16 consecutive games in all domestic competitions.
His series, lasting from 23 July to 11 November, is the longest such run in the top level world football in 2022 and one of the longest in XXI century.
Bergson (full name Bérgson Gustavo Silveira da Silva) made his streak of 10 matches in the Malaysian League, 3 in the main national Cup (called FA Cup) and another 3 in the Malaysia Cup (an analogue of the League Cup).
