A NEW MARK FOR ERLING HAALAND !
Haaland, first EPL player with 50 goals in a season!
Erling Haaland continues to tear the English Premier League. With his goal vs Fulham on 30 April, he became the first player since its inception in 1992 to achieve the mark of 50 goals in all competitions for his club (Manchester City). This amount is made up of 34 goals in the league, 3 in FA Cup, 1 in League Cup and 12 in Champions League.
Haaland has already beaten the previous record of Ruud van Nistelrooy and Mohamed Salah (both 44) by a big margin, having yet a lot of games ahead.
The next aim of Haaland is to beat the eternal record of the English top tier (since 1888) that belongs to “Dixie” Dean. It was set in the old First Division in the season 1927-28: 63 goals for Everton in all competitions (60 in the league, 3 in FA Cup).
