All-time best top division goal-scorers: El Salvador (Part 40)

The Panama’s striker Nicolás Muñoz holds the goal-scoring record in the top league of El Salvador since its foundation in 1948. 
With 303 goals scored for 10 different clubs between 2004 and 2022, he is the only one in the league history who has reached the mark of 300.
“Yuyu” Muñoz took over the record from Williams Reyes (294) on 31 March 2021 when he notched his 295th goal for Águila vs Sonsonate (4-0).
The record holder before Reyes was David Cabrera who is also the scorer with most goals for a single club (240 for FAS).
Only these three players have reached 200+ while 7 players managed to get 150+ and 17 to achieve 100+ goals.
One of them continues to play in the league: Rodolfo Zelaya (172 goals now).
Nicolás Muñoz has retired after 2022 while Williams Reyes (at the age of 46) has not yet, still playing at low-ranked level.
